Citrus Fennel Salad with Vinaigrette

Ingredients: – fennel bulb with fronds – oranges – olive oil – white balsamic vinegar – honey – orange zest – salt – black pepper

Using a sharp knife, remove the stalks from the top of the bulb.  Cut the root end of the fennel bulb off.

Cut the fennel bulb in half, from root to tip. Remove the core from the fennel bulb.

Slice the bulb halves and tender pieces of stalk into ¼" slices.

Peel and slice orange halves into ¼" slices.

To a small bowl, add all vinaigrette ingredients (olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, honey, orange zest, salt, and black pepper). Stir to combine.

Drizzle the vinaigrette over the fennel and oranges. Toss or gently stir to combine. Top with fennel fronds. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
