Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
Cut brioche buns into approximately ¾"cubes and arrange them in a single layer on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over the bread cubes. Sprinkle seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and black pepper) over the bread cubes.
Toss with your hands until all the bread cubes are coated in olive oil and the spice mixture. This can also be done in a large mixing bowl.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes or until all croutons are crispy and golden brown, stirring every 5-10 minutes.
Let the croutons cool at room temperature.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, in the fridge for up to 1 month, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Serve with your favorite salad or soup. Enjoy!
Notes
To cut down on the baking time, let the bread cubes dry out for a few hours before baking.
This recipe uses brioche hamburger buns but there are a lot of options for substitutes. French bread, sourdough, white sandwich bread, stale bread, or really any type of bread can be used for this recipe. You might have to adjust the cooking time depending on the moisture level of the bread you choose.
Olive oil can be replaced with other fats or oils like sunflower oil or even butter to add some extra richness.
This recipe uses dried parsley but it can be substituted with many other ingredients: fresh herbs, dried herbs, Italian seasoning, your favorite seasoning, or even parmesan cheese!
You'll need a sheet pan or cookie sheet big enough for the croutons to be spread out in an even layer without crowding so each crouton gets perfectly crisp.
