Kitchen Essentials:
These are the tools I use the most often in my kitchen and recipes!
From sourdough to soups and stews to hearty braised meats, I use my Dutch oven for anything and everything!
I use this thermometer almost daily. With a 1 second reading time, you'll never overcook a steak again!
This spatula is obviously great for flipping fish. But I also use it to flip fried eggs, roasted veggies, and more!
I cook anything I can in my Lodge cast iron skillets. It's nice to have a variety of sizes for different jobs!
Some recipes need a griddle instead of a round pan. This cast iron griddle is my favorite!
This handy scrubber is perfect for tackling stubborn residue in cast iron pans, making cleanup a breeze!
I use my microplane for testing citrus, grating parmesan, grating garlic, etc.
I use my mandoline for thinly slicing potatoes for potato chips, making french fries for steak frites, vegetable ribbons for banh mi bowls, and more!

Freezer Organization:
With 4 freezers full of game meat, organization is a must! I like to use a variety of sizes of wire baskets depending on the freezer and the size of the packages of meat. There are a ton of options out there. Measure the inside of your freezer and find what works for you!
Protect your valuable freezer contents by using an alarm system to alert you when temperatures unexpectedly rise.

I always use this salt in place of regular table salt.

This salt is perfect for making brines, homemade seasoning mixes, etc.
I prefer to make my own pork lard but this one is a good quality lard too. Pork lard is my preferred fat for cooking wild game meat.
Duck fat is great for making duck confit, searing duck breasts, and even making pie crust!
These little peppers are packed with flavor and are a great addition to many recipes. I like to use them for tacos and compound butter.
I love the flavor of apple cider vinegar for marinades, pickling, etc.

Meat Processing:
We process all of our own game animals. These are my favorite tools for the job!
This is a great budget-friendly option and works great for deboning, removing silverskin, etc.
This 24" x 36" cutting board is really nice for quarters from larger animals like elk.
This stainless steel table has been a game changer for meat processing. We added risers to the legs to make it a little taller than normal counter height. It folds up for easy storage!
I prefer to use a vacuum sealer for boneless cuts of meat.
This 1.0 HP grinder is great for grinding big batches of meat!
Snacks:
